The Hunter Malayalee Samajam (HUMSAM), Newcastle is a non-profit, non-religious community cultural organization.

SARGAM 2026 – Onam celebration

Thank you, Newcastle! On Saturday 29 August 2026 our community came together at Callaghan College Jesmond for SARGAM 2026 – “Amrutham Gamay” – a full day of Onam colours, culture, food and music. For the first time in Newcastle, our stage came alive with Kathakali and Mohiniyattam.
